DueFolder Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 10, 2026
How DueFolder keeps paperwork local and handles the limited purchase, license, recovery, update, and support boundary.
Scope And Operator
This policy describes how Nunuworks, Inc. handles information for the DueFolder website, desktop application, free trial, purchase, activation, recovery, updates, and support.
The general Nunuworks Privacy Policy also applies. This product policy controls where it is more specific.
Local Document Processing
DueFolder processes document bytes, images, PDF text, OCR text, extracted fields, evidence, action proposals, reminders, recurrence records, search records, paths, and operation history on the user's computer.
Nunuworks does not provide hosted document storage or sync for DueFolder and does not receive document contents or document-derived values through the core workflow.
Network Boundary
Downloading the app, starting a purchase, activating or deactivating a license, recovering a key, checking for updates, opening legal or support destinations, and explicitly requesting online support require network access.
Those requests can include product and app version, platform target, pseudonymous installation public-key material or its hash, request identifiers, consent version, license status, and ordinary network metadata. They do not include document contents, OCR text, local paths, document names, document hashes, action history, or extracted values.
Purchase, License, And Recovery Information
Stripe hosts Checkout and processes payment method, billing address, tax location, fraud-prevention signals, and ordinary browser information. Nunuworks does not receive complete card numbers or card security codes.
Nunuworks retains the billing email, order and tax references, consent version, license record, activation count, pseudonymous installation key hash, recovery state, bounded security records, and necessary refund or dispute state.
Postmark may deliver purchase and recovery email. Open and link tracking should remain disabled for license delivery.
Security And Retention
DueFolder keeps the local database under the operating system's application-data protections and keeps private filesystem paths out of the sandboxed interface. Users remain responsible for computer access, backups, and source-document retention.
Nunuworks retains transaction, consent, tax, license, dispute, recovery, email-delivery, and security records only as reasonably needed to operate the product, support users, prevent abuse, reconcile payments, and comply with law. No software or payment system can be perfectly secure.
Rights, Changes, And Contact
Depending on location, a person may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing. Some transaction, tax, security, dispute, and legal records must be retained.
Nunuworks may update this policy as DueFolder or legal requirements change. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to contact@nunuworks.com. Never email payment-card details or unnecessary personal paperwork.
